With a hooded eye, your crease is not visible, which makes your eyelids look small or non-existent. To get over this challenge, my first tip is to do your makeup with your eyes wide open so that you can see your natural eye crease. Our cruelty free eyeshadow palette is formulated to help give your eyes a natural glow without damaging your eyelash extensions.

Steps

Once you have your shadow palette open and are looking straight into the mirror, place a light brown color on your outer eyelid, just above your natural crease. Then blend so that the color doesn’t get lost when you open your eyes.

Next, take a mix of the iridescent white shadow and brush it on your inner top eyelid and through your inner corners. Finish by sweeping the color under the lash line, from the inner corners to the middle of your lower lash line. This will give the illusion that your eyes are wider apart and brighter, as seen in our Mia Michaels example. You can also use any of the other lighter colors in this palette, since they all have the right element for pulling off this trick!

For the third step, use your palette’s darker brown color. Sweep from under the lash line where you last stopped in our previous step to the outer edge of your lower lash line, and then onto the eyelid area. However, only go up to where you swept the original brown color, no further. Now blend!
